Welcome to my new website. The old one was out of date and I found the platform unwieldy. Please feel free to offer any feedback on the site, navigation or layout or anything. Its all easy to change.
Whats new other than my website?
Well, I finally finished my first album, “Hotdogs and Chardonnay”. Its a great little portrait of Dan Harris music, there are 13 songs inspired from places and people from my upbringing in Vermont, and tunes I've written since I've moved away from the rain and grey skies of New England to sunny Colorado.
I employed Enion Pelta-Tiller, of Taaka fame, to play fiddle on a bunch of songs, and a string quartet arrangement on “Cold November”. She's fantastic, go listen to everything she does!
Brad Morse, of the Gasoline Lollipops, played bass throughout. ‘ nuff said about the Gas Pops, boy o' boy I can't imagine a better foundation for this whole record!
Pamala Machala added some really sweet piano tracks on “Cold November”.
Mad Dog Friedman played some killer harp on “Dem Bones” and my good buddy Keith Summers plaid down some sad ass banjo on “Sittin at the Bar on a Monday”
I couldn't be happier with this record and I hope you all enjoy it as well.
This will be available on all streaming platforms early 2025 and ready for purchase in CD/Vinyl/Digital formats shortly after.
